Laser Cutting at Chelsea

Our Laser Cutting facility here at Chelsea College, offers another level of precision often unobtainable within our workshop. Wood, Plastics, Fabric and many other man made and natural materials can be cut and etched with beautiful detail and intricacy. Run by Isabelle Tasseff-Elenkoff, with her lovely French accent, she has joined us from Camberwell College for three days a week, Tuesday to Thursday.

    Laser Cutting : The location of your proposed laser cutting supplier is something that can be easily overlooked. Are they able to get goods delivered to you on time if they are using their own transport? Are they close to an airport if you are looking for an international supplier?

    This would be such an interesting environment! So you can cut out any design that you make on the computer? That would be perfect! I'm thinking about getting a plastic laser cutter.

    This sounds like a very effective way to cut materials. I have been interested in finding new ways enhance our cutting abilities. Using a laser would certainly make the cuts much more precise. http://www.hygradelaser.com.au/laser_cutting.html

    It is fascinating how the state of the art technologies have not only helped to find the Erebus and to scan it but they are also helping you to build a model of the ship ten times faster than usual...at least as for the hull. I guess that the printer couldn´t help you too much with the rigging. dotlaser.co.uk
